Welcome back!!! & Life Lately 2021…

Hello again!

I know I haven’t dedicated much time to writing this year due to obligations that can be attributed to the obvious pandemic reasons, but April carries so many family celebrations year after year that I definitely didn’t want to miss archiving these moments here in my tucked-away little virtual nook. I won’t have much time beyond this to spend here, but I’m happy and proud to share with you a few photos that have been captured so far:

And they mostly tell about the luxury moments of the day, those minutes when one tries to shut out the thoughts that are popping day and night and the desperately extreme emotions… with what else but a carefully prepared, flavorful coffee and as much sunshine as one can soak up in 10-15 minutes.

But of course, the highlight of the day is still when, after a tough day, there is someone waiting for you at home who loves you unconditionally (and even squeezes three sips of fresh orange juice out of a kilo of oranges as a sign of love, to make sure a tired, dark-circled mom gets her vitamins ♥)

Of course, there are also mornings that start a bit tougher, when not even a thousand kisses can coax a little boy out from between the soft pillows… ♥

And there are days when it doesn’t matter how they started, as long as we’ve gotten through the hardest part and all we have left to do is walk over to play soccer (and gather all our willpower and active love for that xD).

And the icing on the cake: after almost half a year in the shop, I finally got my car back!!! Now we just needed to find some time for a little bit of manly care.

Welcome to our little virtual corner! I’m a single mother raising my wonderful son, Ruben, who has grown into a remarkable teenager. For years, I was the sole breadwinner as a Krav Maga instructor, balancing the challenges of parenthood and work on my own. When Ruben started kindergarten, I embarked on a new journey by studying healthcare management at Semmelweis University, specializing in health tourism management. After graduating, I began working in my field and experienced firsthand the tragic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic while serving as a healthcare manager in a state hospital. As the pandemic subsided, I transitioned into private healthcare, where I currently work as a practice manager. Meanwhile, our family moved from a small town to Vác, a charming historic Danube riverside city near Budapest. Here, we embrace the everyday moments and joys of life together. If you want to hear more stories about us, you’re warmly invited to visit the original Daysonpaper blog at S&Ru’s Diary on daysonpaper.blog.hu. So I decided to try living for a year on an international stage and see if there are other mothers in similar shoes for whom this diary could be a support on the harder days—just as it has been a support for me when I was able to look beyond the difficulties and sincerely believe in my own strength. Thank you for stopping by!
