How did our past week go…? – The Newborn edition –
Dear Reader, who has been following our story here in this little virtual nook for almost a decade now!
Allow me to introduce the youngest member of the S&Rú diaries and the newest addition to our wolfpack: Wolfie!
We’ve already been home for a week, spending our days in peace and a little bit up in the clouds, getting to know our new family model, getting used to the new sounds and needs, the changing dynamics and the extra layer of bonding that now fills our home. I’d almost forgotten what life with a newborn is like – the milky‑scented little head, the tiny hands, and that gaze that looks straight into your soul. And with two strong, determined boys in the house who are ready at any moment to take over cuddling, rocking and nappy‑changing whenever I need a few minutes, I truly have no reason to complain.
Even though our hospital stay unfortunately turned out longer than we had planned, by now we have nothing else to do but eat, sleep and love each other. 🙂
A million kisses,
S & Rú
& Laci
& Wolfie
Our first days at home

And our first little mum‑and‑Ruben outing for a treat while dad stayed home with the baby (the day after coming home from the hospital, still a bit wiped out):

And one of the good things about breastfeeding: the wonderful food:
