
Grund
The star of our last summer, Ruben’s unwavering favorite and object of adoration, came to life on Thursday when we wandered into the tree forts in Corvin Quarter. We simply couldn’t put down The Paul Street Boys (by Ferenc Molnár) until we finished a chapter. We couldn’t stop talking about the characters, and of course, we didn’t skip watching the movie after reading the whole novel.
Visiting the “grund” felt like walking through the pages of the book itself—jumping from one tree fort to another, and closing the cover when we said goodbye to the beloved ground.
