This year, Ruben spent May 1st at the archery range (and took first place!), so we celebrated our May Day the day before along the Danube promenade in Vác. Basically, we just lay in the grass, walked our hundred-legged friend on our hands, played story dice, and read books. A few weeks ago, Ruben and I decided to skip kindergarten for a day and have a special mom-and-son day! We set off to spend the day watching movies, visiting a toy store, and enjoying frozen yogurt—just the two of us. I loved every moment!
